We are estate grown, loved & nurtured.

  • Chemin de Bellisendy

Our Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown between in villages of ALAIGNE and ROUTIER in the Malepère region close to Limoux. With the cool nights off the mountains of the Pyrenees it is an idyllic location for producing Chardonnay in this region.

One of our parcels of old vine Cabernet Sauvignon is also grown here profiting from the clay/loam soils to produce intense fruit flavours and soft lingering tannins.

  • Le Jardin Secret

A hidden gem, our second plot of old vine Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1985 grows here in the Malepère. This abandoned vineyard we have brought back to life through much love and hard work. Completely overgrown by brambles and thicket trees this small vineyard is completely surrounded by a wall of “friche” on the perimeter resulting in a hidden oasis. This is also the home of our wine tasting experiences. Sit and be surrounded by what we are trying to create and be part of the journey. Church bells ring at on the hour to bring the real sense of rural vigneron life in France.

  • Le Camp de L'Arayre

Facing the picturesque village of Lesquerde in the Pyrénées-Orientals is our tiny 0.16 hectare Muscat à Petit Grain Blanc vineyard. Here 753 bush vines live at 310m above sea level, each with their own individual stake growing in harmony with nature. The rocky granite soil in combination with warm sunny days and cool nights result in intense varietal flavours in our finished wine.

  • Al Prat De Nau

We possess two small Syrah vineyards at the village of Lesquerde, Al Prat De Nau and La Bouletiere both facing the majestic Pyrenean mountain range. The Al Prat De Nau vineyard was planted in 1979. With the vines 45 years of growth and the the soil profile of aged granite sand, this vineyard provides the core and depth of our Syrah It is the wild herbs of the garrigue that grow freely in and around the vineyards with this unique soil type that generates the aromas and flavours displayed only in our Syrah. The deeper soil of the Al Prat de Nau vineyard allows the vines to profit from the sparse rainfall in the region, whilst concentrating the berry flavours.

  • La Bouletiere

La Bouletiere ,planted in 2004, is our second small Syrah vineyard at the village of Lesquerde in the Pyrenées Orientales. Perched high on a sloping hill face, the shallow granite boulder rich sandy soil profile has made it a tough life for the vines of this 20 year old vineyard. Low rainfall and extreme climatic conditions has stunted the grow of the vines which are trellised at 20cm above ground level to protect them from the strong prevailing winds. The result of all this stress is to produce grapes from a very low yielding site rich in-depth of flavour yet with soft tannins. When conditions are favourable a small clay mud wallow is present at the peak of the vineyard where the sanglier regularly bathe.

  • Coll Del Tauc de Dessus

The highest of our vineyards situated at Lesquerde at the end of a windy rocky dirt track lost on a windswept barren hillside. The Grenache Noir has an extremely tough existence here, growing between large granite boulders with minimal soil, this is another “project” vineyard in need of much love and TLC. Terraced on a steeply sloping hillside the vineyard has been described at a site which will test any machinery used to plow between the vines, but with grit and determination mixed with blood sweat and tears this vineyard will regain it’s former glory
